Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract is an extract from the flowers of the Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) plant. It is frequently used in skin care formulations for its soothing and antiinflammatory effects. It has also shown to offer wound healing and natural skin moisturizing benefits
to the skin.

Research revealed that chamomile has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and some antimutagenic properties. Chamomile has also demonstrated moderate antimicrobial, antiviral and antioxidant properties.
